CCAP: Rising Stars Internship
General Information
Be part of the magic as a Rising Stars Intern! This energetic, hands-on role supports a one-week theatre camp for young performers. Interns must be available Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and will receive a modest honorarium along with community service hours.
Program Overview
Created for students entering grades 2–4, this joyful introduction to musical theatre explores acting, singing, choreography, and storytelling in a fun and encouraging environment. The week concludes with a showcase celebrating each camper’s growth and creativity.
Intern Responsibilities
Support campers throughout daily activities and transitions
Assist with theatre games, crafts, and creative exercises
Help guide basic performance skills in acting, singing, and movement
Encourage and engage young performers throughout the week
Support the final showcase experience
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be entering 8th grade or older and be enthusiastic, responsible, and excited to work with younger children in a leadership role.
Attendance Policy
Full-week attendance is required.
