The Cornerstone Community Arts Project (CCAP) was founded on the belief that engaging youth in music and the performing arts fosters personal growth, inspires creativity, and strengthens the community.
As a community outreach program of The Songbird’s Gift, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, CCAP supports young people on their musical journey through educational programming, summer camps, outreach initiatives, and dedicated mentorship.
CCAP ensures that all youth have equitable access to the benefits of music and performing arts education, embracing the principles of inclusion and diversity regardless of socio-economic background. Our mission is to help young people pursue their artistic passions while providing inspiring mentors who guide, encourage, and celebrate their creative expression.
Through participation in CCAP, students develop not only musical and artistic skills but also critical life skills—confidence, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and goal-setting. By nurturing creativity and self-expression, CCAP empowers youth to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally, cultivating a lifelong love of music and the performing arts.
