CCAP: Broadway Bound Internship

General Information

Step into the heart of the CCAP experience as a camp Intern! Interns are fully immersed in all aspects of camp life, supporting both staff and campers throughout the three-week session (8:45 AM – 4:00 PM daily), with the final day extending through evening performances until approximately 8:00 PM. This role includes a modest honorarium and is eligible for community service hours.

Program Overview

Designed for students entering grades 5–9, this dynamic program invites aspiring performers to grow their skills in singing, acting, and stage movement while experiencing the full journey of a musical theatre production. Campers collaborate daily to rehearse and refine their work, culminating in two fully staged performances at the Allentown High School Performing Arts Center.

Intern Responsibilities

  • Support campers throughout daily activities and rehearsals

  • Assist with staging, choreography, and performance preparation

  • Help lead theatre games, activities, and group engagement

  • Support props, sets, and backstage organization

  • Contribute to a fun, focused, and encouraging camp environment

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be entering 10th grade or older and bring a strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and enthusiasm. Ideal candidates are positive role models who are excited to lead, support, and inspire young performers.

Attendance Policy

Full attendance for the entire three-week session is required.
